About the college

The ODS Companies is establishing an administrative and educational facility in La Grande, Oregon, that will provide classroom and clinical facilities for the Dental Hygiene program. Oregon Institute of Technology will provide faculty for classroom and clinical studies based on the successful program it has offered at its main campus in Klamath Falls for more than 40 years. Eastern Oregon University, in a co-enrollment environment, will offer pre-requisite and general education courses. Some non-clinical courses will be taught online by OIT faculty.

The ODS College of Dental Sciences curriculum from OIT is fully accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation, and recognized by the Oregon Board of Dental Examiners, the Oregon Dental Association and the Oregon Dental Hygiene Association. Eastern Oregon University and Oregon Institute of Technology are accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities.

The Dental Sciences faculty is committed to the development of critical thinking skills, self-evaluation and the ethical and moral integrity of each student.
